In 2005, Holy Trinity Regional School announced the opening of a Pre-Kindergarten program for children ages 2.9 through 5.
Based on a developmental model of education, the classroom environment is fun, nurturing and cheerful, allowing each young child to feel confident to explore and interact. The play areas within the classroom are set up to encourage our pre-school students to grow socially and make new friends along the way.
PreK- 1 Program (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30 – 12:30)
We suggest this program for our younger students or first time Pre K students, ages 2.9 and up and potty trained. This program is designed as an introduction to social interactions with other children, as well as introducing the students to “table work” (working with pencils, crayons, glue sticks, scissors), prewriting techniques, following directions, and self help skills.
Pre K -2 Program (Monday – Friday 8:30- 2:30)
This program is designed specifically for the preparation to Kindergarten and consists of 5 full days. Students must be potty trained. The students will participate in a well planned curriculum blending the perfect amount of social interaction, play, and learning time. Mrs. Souza and Mrs. Pupa will work closely with Mrs. Merrill (our Kindergarten teacher) to assure a smooth transition into Kindergarten.
Uniform
Our PreK students are very important to our school community. In order to give our students a true sense of belonging to Holy Trinity, this coming 2010- 2011 school year, our PreK students are required to dress in the Holy Trinity School uniform.

Pre-Kindergarten Hours
PreK -1 : Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30- 12:30
PreK-2 : Monday – Friday 8:30- 2:30
Extended Day Program is available on a per hour basis between the hours of 7:30am-8:30am and 12:00pm-5:30 pm however enrollment is limited.
